History

Established in 1957.

In 1957, Ballard native H. "Vern" Olson opened Northwest Water Heater Exchange, a family business providing timely tank replacement and exceptional customer service. Over the years, the business expanded to installing hvac, windows, doors and siding, and became a top home improvement contractor.

They saw that there were companies who sold home products, companies who installed home products, but no company that took ownership of the product, installation and service holistically. They knew this approach would solve many contractor and box store issues faced by customers. So when an opportunity arose to purchase Washington Energy Services, their "all with one call" business model was born.

Today, we are still family owned, and have grown to provide tailored comfort and energy saving solutions in thirteen categories. Wherever you see our trucks with their blue icon, you can be assured we're living our founder's values and are committed to exceeding your expectations.
