History

Established in 2004.

Like many in this industry, Randy Baldwin began his career as a plumber when he was 16 years old. In the 25+ years since then, Randy's drive and passion to succeed have taken him places few other local Virginia plumbers could even imagine.

Very modest by nature, Randy will only grudgingly admit to having gained experience as a plumber on four continents while serving in the United States Navy. After leaving the service Randy went to work for one of the nation's largest sewer drain repair companies and rapidly rose to become the company's #1 producer.

Seeing an opportunity in what the company wasn't offering its customers, Randy founded Home Service Doctors in 2004. He committed to delivering the same outstanding quality of work he'd been doing for years, but with superior commitment to the satisfaction of his customers.

In 2012, Plumberologist and was named Virginia's Plumbing Contractor of the Year.

The Home Service Doctors is owned by Randy Baldwin; a United States Veteran, a hard working leader, a dedicated father and a man with a passion for great service.  Randy's goal is not about creating average experiences for customers, it's about going the extra mile to create service that "Amazes You." That powerful commitment is the heart of the Home Service Doctors and the driver of the "Doctor Difference."  It's not a marketing concept, it's a mentality that has been earned over 30 years in the Home Service business.

At the age of 16, Randy Baldwin's first job was digging septic system installations by hand in his native North Carolina. When he was 19, Randy joined the United States Navy where, by sheer good fortune, he was assigned to an engineering battalion and was able to continue to develop his skills.

As the services expanded into air conditioning and heating, Randy added the Comfortologist and Sewerologist.  This family of services now make up the Home Service Doctors.
