Pipedreams Plumbing had been in business for 1 year in Los Angles when owner Stephen Smith moved to Sonoma County in 1990. Involvement in City of Santa Rosa and Sonoma County Water Agency water conservation programs installing water efficient fixtures has been a highlight. Work with local contractors on remodels and new construction has been a rewarding experience. Pipedreams is still a small company with the owner involved in every call.
Having completed Green Plumbers certification, the business hopes to become more involved in helping it's clientele reduce their carbon footprint by being more energy and water efficient.

Often when asked how I got in the plumbing biz I will facetiously say I had a friend who needed a ditch dug and I never got out of the ditch. As the offspring of a MD, PhD I  tend to take that humble view of my profession. Fact is, I take great pride in doing the humblest of work to the best of my ability and I work daily to instill that principle in my employees. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is diagnosing a problem and coming up with the most practical solution.  
I had 2 years of school through the Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors of The Greater Los Angeles Area. That gave me a solid foundation in plumbing code and practices. The ensuing 25 years in the plumbing industry has left me well qualified to tackle any plumbing related issues.
