We specialize in diagnosing and repairing or replacing sewer lines as general residential and light commercial plumbing, with either  trenchless or open trench methods.

We are experts at diagnosing sewer problems and will only recommend the repair that will correct the problem - not the one that makes us the most money.

Whenever possible, we'll run a camera when we prepare your free estimate to repair or replace your line.  We've found that often all that is needed is a good root cutting.  We'll run the camera to prove our work afterward and give you a CD with the video.

We're family owned serving Alameda and Contra Costa counties.Our business is 100% referral based -  our reputation is our advertising.

History

Established in 2001.

Pipe Cam is a husband-wife team and we started our company with a contract with a major telecom company locating and documenting sewer laterals.  

During that time we learned how degraded the sewer systems were and developed a diagnostic sewer inspection and report that is commonly used in real estate today.

That's how we became experts in diagnosing sewer laterals.  In 2004, we expanded past exclusively diagnosing into full service repair and replacement of sewer lines and general plumbing work.

We offer both trenchless and open trench sewer line replacement and work both in and out of the various sewer certification markets that have become a part of real estate transactions in many communities.

We don't waste your money on traditional advertising and have built our business exclusively on referrals.  

We know many plumbers spend thousands on yellow page ads and the consumer is the one who foots the bill.  We'd rather have you spend your money on solutions.

Business Owner

Jim is a native of the east SF Bay Area and a proud veteran of the US Navy, having served in Desert Storm.

He is a 15-year long resident and married guy with his wife, Pamela (who you'll meet on our phones) and an 11 year old daughter.

Jim holds a General A contractors license as well as a C-36 plumbing license.  When you work with him, you'll always understand exactly what we are doing and why we are doing it.  Your comfort and trust are number one.

In his off times, Jim enjoys the outdoors and is a certified scuba diver
