Excellent customer service is our number one priority.  It is, and always has been, our goal to treat our customers in the same manner we would like to be treated.  You will always speak to a "live person" twenty four hours a day. During regular business hours you will be assisted by a member of our knowledgeable office staff.  Nights and week-ends your call will be taken by an answering service that will contact our on-call technician immediately for all emergency requests.  We make every attempt to arrive at emergencies within one hour, or less.

With a combined experience of over 80 years, our staff is fully trained in everything from minor home repairs such as leaky pipes, running toilets and hardware replacement, to installing tankless water heaters, reverse osmosis and water softening systems, televising and correcting sewer line problems, and locating and repair of slab leaks.We are also a certified service company for Bradford White water heaters, allowing us to not only install new units, but make warranty repairs with no delay waiting for parts.

Since it's inception, Nootbaar Plumbing and Drain has maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.  In addition, the Company has a perfect record with the State Contractor's Board, the State of California, and has achieved the distinction of never having an insurance claim filed against the Company.

Among our repeat customer client base are numerous large commercial and residential Property Management companies, well known commercial construction groups, local Unified School Districts, the State of California and local city government facilities, several national fast food restaurants, "chain" store merchants, and private community Homeowner's Associations.

Business Owner

Michael Nootbaar is a third generation plumber who started his own plumbing business twenty eight years ago.  The youngest of nine children, he started working as a Plumber's Helper at the young age of thirteen.  At sixteen he purchased his first plumbing truck and has been providing excellent service to his customers ever since.  His superior knowledge of slab leaks has earned him the reputation as an expert in the detection and repair field, often called upon by other companies to consult on jobs or locate "problem" leaks when they cannot.  He is known by his peers as an all around problem solver and a professional who prides himself on giving every customer the attention to detail they seek and the personal care and courtesy that you don't always receive in our industry today.  In addition, he is highly accredited and holds a number of industry training certificates, such as IAMPO as a "Green Plumber".
