History

Established in 1989.

Mike is a third-generation plumber, following his father and grandfather in the trade. After helping to close his father's business, Mike started Mike Testa Plumbing in 1989. He has worked hard ever since to build up the business to its present level of success. Mike Testa Plumbing was the first Marin area plumber to be awarded the prestigious Diamond Certification when that rating organization began in 1996, and has maintained Diamond Certification every year since. Other awards include Best of Marin, 1999, and being named among the top three Marin area plumbers in The Prime Buyer's Report. However, the most important measure of this success lies in the consistent level of satisfaction among the approximately 2,500 customers served in Marin County every year.

Mike and his wife, Cindy, live in Novato and have two teenaged sons. Mike's hobbies include swimming (he has swum the mile-plus distance from Alcatraz to San Francisco,) running and mountain biking. Among his community service activities are maintenance of local school baseball fields. The baseball field at Sinaloa Middle School in Novato is named "Testa Field."

Mike grew up in Novato. His commitment to excellence and service are based both on honoring his father's legacy in business as well as pride in his community roots. An emphasis on developing personal relationships with customers is part of what makes Mike Testa Plumbing special, as reflected in customer loyalty, satisfaction and repeat business.
