Jiffy Plumbing & Heating serves the greater Washington metropolitan area with a fleet of approximately fifty vehicles. We are active members of the Metropolitan Washington Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Contractors' Association (MWPHCC). Additionally, our employees participate in events such as "Christmas in April" and "Toys for Tots," and Hurricane Katrina rebuilding efforts.

History

Established in 2000.

During the 1990's, the Washington metropolitan area  underwent a wave of mechanical company consolidations. Within the space of four years, companies were bought and sold and then resold; these consolidations created tumult among the workers and office staff of the local plumbing and mechanical industry. The founding workers and managers of Jiffy Plumbing & Heating were drawn from the rapidly changing environment by the vision of a new company; a company whose character was built on the foundation of years of experience and understanding of the issues that are important to the end user.
