Harts Plumbing & Excavation is a leader in trenchless underground construction technologies for the city of Tacoma and surrounding areas. We specialize in professional residential & commercial plumbing services, residential excavation in relation to plumbing work, and all things underground.  We are Tacoma's Sewer Experts. We focus on Drain Cleaning, Sewer Camera Inspections, Hydro Jetting, Sewer Spot Repair, as well as Complete Side Sewer Replacement utilizing either open trench (Excavation), or Trenchless (Pipe Bursting / Pipe Relining) technologies.  We are the only company that does all of our own Pipe Bursting and CIPP (Cure In Place Pipe) Re-Lining in the Tacoma area.  We have over 10 years experience replacing residential & commercial side sewers.

Hart's Plumbing & Excavation has been specializing in the restoration and replacement of sewers and drains in the Tacoma area since 2013.  We also have a staff of fully certified journeyman plumbers to handle any of your residential or commercial plumbing issues.

Richard Harts (Owner) is one of the highest qualified residential side sewer specialists in the state of Washington.  He has over 12 years experience in the Plumbing and Excavation industry.  Richard has replaced hundreds of residential and commercial sewer lines.

We employ the latest in trenchless, "No Dig" solutions like Pipe Bursting and Cure-in-Place Piping (CIPP).  These methods allow us to save our customers landscaping and money.

Richard & Dan have been best friends since jr. high, and started HP&E in 2013 to bring new sewer and waterline restoration technologies to Tacoma and the surrounding areas.

Richard has been a professional residential & commercial plumber for over 12 years, and has been specializing in underground utilities for the last 7 years.  Richard was the first person to be certified in HI for Cure-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) installation and has been involved with pipe bursting since its inception to the market.  With over 10,000 hr of experience in side sewer and waterline replacement, as well as over 10,000 hr in residential and commercial plumbing application, Richard is considered and expert in his field.

Dan has owned & managed companies ranging from retail to manufacturing, bringing new products and services to a multitude of different industries and markets.  He studied business management at CU Boulder in Colorado and is responsible for Harts Plumbing & Excavation's modern culture.
