"Electrical work at _your address_" Â so that I notice it and can quickly search for it.
I work primarily with residential and light commercial customers: renters, home-owners, landlords, and business owners. Â I am not interested in industrial work.
I specialize in personal work: *I* do the work -not a "crew" of helpers.
I've worked primarily in the beautiful old Victorian twins of West Philly/University City and I am very experienced with repairing and replacing knob & tube wiring. Â A lot of my work involves trouble shooting, fixing, and replacing old wiring systems. Â ...
I like using my brain and I like a good challenge!
From changing a light fixture or a receptacle to installing ceiling fans, to separating services and meters, to new electrical services to rehabs and multi-dwelling gutted buildings, I am happy to say that I like my job and I like my work.
My first boss taught me that "if you don't have time to do it right, you don't have time to do it twice" ...so I make the time in my work week to give my full attention to every job and I often am available for emergencies.
For that reason, I can confidently say that *all my labor is guaranteed forever*.. Â If I do something wrong, I fix it for free.
History
Established in 1995.
I started working as an electrician in 1984. Â I stayed with the electrician who trained me for about 13 years. Â He was a terrific teacher and boss and we are still friends today.
I started working for myself slowly around 1995 and have since built a large customer base through personal recommendations/word of mouth. Â I believe this has been very important in building my reputation and my personal sense of responsibility to my customers -many of whom have become my friends as well. Â My local reputation is good enough that 90% of my work is within 2 miles of my house.
My customers are home owners, landlords, and small business. Â As someone who owns a home *and* rental units, I understand the need for quality and efficiency: all my work is guaranteed forever and my price system is based on lots of experience bidding and completing the work myself.
Previously, I had never used a service like Yelp before -and I have to say, you have all been awesome customers.

When you call or email you'll get *me*; not a secretary or answering service. Â I don't advertise, wear a fancy uniform or offer "coupons" -those things all add to the expense of every job and *you* (the customers) eventually pay for them.
I have 5 Stars on Yelp and an "A" rating on Angie's list because I like my job, I like my customers, I communicate and set expectations *with* you. :-)
A wise man once said: "Misery is the result of unfulfilled expectation". Â When contractors take the time to really work with customers, we are ALL much happier.
