Dimond Plumbing & Heating specializes in the service, repair and installation of all plumbing and heating systems, equipment and fixtures. Water service mains and piping, water heaters, faucets, drain waste and vent piping, tub and shower valves, floor and wall furnaces, etc

We appreciate old and vintage fixtures and valves, many of these cannot be replaced with anything having anywhere near the character and many can be saved and their lives extended into the next generation. If it can be fixed - We'll do it!

History

Established in 1910.

Dimond Plumbing & Heating Co. was founded in 1910 when many families and businesses were relocating to the east bay after the 1906 earthquake. Oakland's "Dimond District" was home and for many years Dimond Plumbing & Heating was located on the corner of MacArthur Blvd. and Coolidge Ave.

Early in the century Dimond Plumbing & Heating did much of the plumbing  for the Alameda County Building and The University of California - Berkeley.  In addition to the commercial and industrial work Dimond Plumbing & Heating Co. continued to earn the reputation for quality and honesty with the residents of Oakland and the entire east bay community. Many of our current customer base are children and grand children of our first customers.

Now in it's third generation of ownership, Dimond Plumbing & Heating Co. continues to strive to deliver quality work at fair prices, offering value and integrity on every service call.

I began my plumbing career at the age of 17 digging ditches. Over the years I've covered a lot of ground in the plumbing industry and the one thing I've learned that I can say without qualification is that there's plenty I have to learn. With code changes, advancements in technology, the sheer variance in products and options - It's impossible to "know it all".

The biggest thing I can offer a customer is a desire to do a good job at a fair price. That's what I challenge my son to do as well.
