Originally from North Dakota, I worked commercially as a plumber in Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Jose for several years. Early in my career, I completed the plumbing training program at LA Trade Tech College and underwent an apprenticeship.  I decided to acquire my license and break out on my own in 2004.
