History

Established in 1945.

As of April 24, 2033  and every year since, Burkell Plumbing has earned and maintained the prestigious Diamond Certified® award. The Diamond Certified award is presented only to plumbing and other local service companies that rate "highest in quality" in a detailed customer satisfaction study of their customers served during the previous four-year period.

Each qualifying business must also pass a license, insurance, complaint status, legal and credit rating (for contractors). To maintain Diamond Certification, American Ratings Corporation conducts ongoing customer satisfaction surveys and checks credentials on a regular basis

Business Owner

Jacob (Jake) Newman has been at Burkell Plumbing and Heating for over 35 years, having worked for Dennis Burkell and eventualy buying the company with Michael Burkell, Dennis' nephew.  Michael Burkell retired and Jake has decided to drop the new construction arm of the company and focus on service and repair, installation and replacement of all plumbing and heating fixtures, new and old.  Jake has also set up a comprehensive training program to keep up with all the new technology involved in servicing and maintaining new energy efficient boilers, furnaces and water heaters.
